Day 1: The True Measure of Success

Scripture: Joshua 1:7

Reflect on the charge God gave to Joshua: "Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you." Here, success is directly linked to obedience to God’s word. Often, we measure success by worldly standards, yet God’s definition calls us to evaluate our lives based on our faithfulness to Him. Consider how aligning with God’s teachings changes your perspective on success. Today, ask yourself how you can better conform to His word and plan.

Reflection:

1.  In what ways have you been defining success by the world's standards?

2. How might your life look different if you measured success by your faithfulness to God instead?

Pray for strength and courage to conform to God’s word, seeking His guidance in every decision.


Day 2: Sticking to God's Plan

Scripture:* Proverbs 3:5-6

God's plan is foolproof. Joshua didn’t need a war strategy; he needed a word strategy. Trust that God knows the best path for your life. When we trust His plan, regardless of our circumstances, His favor follows. Sticking to God’s plan requires surrender and trust. Reflect on where you can surrender more fully to God’s guidance today.

1. Where is God asking you to surrender control and trust His plan more deeply

2. What steps can you take this week to align your plans more closely with God’s plan?

Ask God for the willingness to stick to His plan above your own and to find joy in His paths for you.

Day 3: Courage to Move Forward

Scripture: Philippians 3:13-14

Life involves setbacks, but like Joshua, our call is to move forward in courage and strength. Keep striving, even when you feel inadequate or when the pressures of life weigh you down. Faithfulness means continuing to pursue God, trusting that He leads us through every challenge.

Reflection: How can you demonstrate courage in an area where you feel challenged? How can God’s word support you in this?

Pray for courage to pursue God’s call on your life and the perseverance to keep moving forward, no matter the obstacles.
